awful soundproofingthin walls
the room was large. unfortunately, the soundproofing was awful. i am sure it wasn't an elephant in the room above us, but it sounded like it. we could hear them use the loo. then at 1am when we'd finally got to sleep the ladies staying in the room next door came in and chatted about their evening.

minor inconveniences during stay

helpful receptioninsufficient mat
The reception staff were friendly and helpful. That was acceptable.
the room's small bath mat was not sufficient. it did not serve two people using both the bath and the shower. i think this is a real oversight.
